Objectives
1. To identify gender issues through social connects developed with the NGOs.
2. Create an awareness amongst students and teachers about these issues.
3. Strengthen the gender action programmes by the way of workshops, seminars and poster exhibitions
4. The college SOEC (Social Outreach and Enabling Centre), the NCC unit, the committee for prevention of sexual harassment and NSS to play a major role in creating awareness about gender issues, identify resources and implement programmes/ activities for promotion for gender neutral environment.
5. To support initiatives taken by the students and teachers addressing gender issues.
6. Create sensitivity towards gender issues by the way of workshops, seminars, poster exhibitions.
7. Conduct programmes on women empowerment and awareness about legal issues related to women.
8. Awareness on overall issues related to women in terms of their wellbeing, health and hygiene.
